About this yarn

YarnArt Macrame Rope 5mm is a substantial, twisted rope yarn with a 5 mm diameter. Unlike braided cord, this 'rope' yarn has a twisted rope structure — and that offers a nice advantage: the ends can be untwisted and combed out into soft fringe, perfect for tassels and finishes.

The yarn contains recycled cotton fiber and is super bulky, ideal for large, decorative projects that progress quickly. You can even split the thread into two parts if you want a finer result.

One generous ball weighs 500 grams and yields approximately 85 meters.

Care

Macrame Rope can be machine washed at 30–40 °C. Do not use bleach, lay your work flat to dry on a flat surface, and iron at a low temperature if necessary.
