About this yarn

YarnArt Rosegarden is a sophisticated cake yarn made from 100% mercerized cotton, composed of four fine, tightly twisted strands. The mercerization gives the cotton a beautiful sheen, deep colors, and a smooth, durable thread.

Its unique feature is the cake shape with an ombré gradient: the shades gradually blend into one another within each cake, creating a beautiful, naturally flowing result. You can unwind from the center or the outside.

One generous cake weighs 250 grams and contains approximately 1000 meters — often enough for an entire project.

Useful tips

·       Knit with 2.5 mm or crochet with 3 mm; with fine yarn, even half a needle size makes a difference.

·       Choose a simple pattern, so the ombré gradient gets all the attention.

·       Due to the high yardage, you can often make an entire scarf or top from one cake.

Care

Wash Rosegarden by hand or machine at 30 °C on a delicate cycle. Do not bleach or tumble dry; lay your work flat to dry and iron at a low temperature if necessary, to preserve shine and color.
